Playing the guitar for a long time, why cultivate these three habits? I understand today

Habit 1: Soaking hands
Why do you want to soak your hands? Because playing the guitar for a long time, the calluses on your fingers are too thick and hard, and pressing them on the strings can easily produce noise. If you soak your fingers in water, the calluses will become soft, and when you play again, the noise will correspondingly decrease. When pressing the strings and changing them, there will be no unpleasant noise caused by the calluses driving the strings. So, another thing is that after playing the piano for half an hour at a time, your fingers will become stiff and feel dry and numb. At this time, soak your hands in warm water to let the blood circulate. This way, when you play the piano again, you will find your fingers full and flexible. During the soaking period, you can relax your whole body and mind. Practice the piano again, and you will find it full of vitality. Therefore, my habit is to play for twenty minutes, soak your hands for a while, drink a cup of tea, relax, and then go play and practice. This can achieve twice the result with half the effort.
Habit 2: Trimming nails
The second good habit to cultivate when playing the guitar is to trim the nails of both hands. Many friends do not have the habit of trimming the nails of their left hands, but this is actually not right. If you have nails on your left hand, it will cause the nails to press against the strings when pressing the strings, and the sound produced will produce noise and chopping. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate the habit of regularly trimming the nails of your left hand, without leaving any nails, so that you can use your fingertips to press the strings to form a memory.
How to trim the nails on your right hand? For friends who play folk finger music, they like to keep very long nails and use them to pluck strings, making the sound clear and pleasant. However, as a beginner in guitar, don't keep your nails too long. Personally, it feels like keeping them around a millimeter, just like learning piano music, without using your nails to play. Why? Because when you first started learning guitar, you didn't practice the strength of your right hand, and the strength of your power didn't reach a uniform state. Because the plucking force of each finger in your right hand is different, the middle finger is stronger, the index finger is second, and the ring finger is smaller, many times you will find that when you play the same note with each finger on the iPad, there will be differences in sound quality, color, and volume.
